Moose Legion Member,Fellowship and Pilgrim for the Loyal Order of Moose and Academy of Friendship, College of Regents and Star Recorder for the Women of the Moose.

Purpose of the Council of Higher Degrees

The Council is a separate and autonomous unit of the Order. The objects and purposes of the Council of Higher Degrees are as follows:

To become actively involved in lodge and chapter retention programs.

To honor any newly elevated members of the Moose Legion, Fellowship, Pilgrim, College of Regents, Star Recorders or Academy of Friendship Degrees within its jurisdiction.

To pay proper respect to departed members

To promote a better understanding of Moose International, Inc. the Loyal Order of Moose and the Women of the Moose.

To render service to Mooseheart and Moosehaven by creating and maintaining a fund for the purpose of carrying on these charitable and philanthropic endeavors

To promote fraternal and social unity, benevolence and charity among members of the Order's Higher Degrees.

The Ohio State Moose Association Council of Higher Degrees is broken down into four councils that correspond with the geographical location in the state of your Lodge or Chapter. The councils are;

Ohio Moose Northeast Council of Higher Degrees
Ohio Moose Northwest Council of Higher Degrees
Ohio Moose Southeast Council of Higher Degrees
Ohio Moose Southwest Council of Higher Degrees

How to Join the Council

Joining is very easy if you are a holder of a Higher Degree in the Loyal Order of Moose or the Women of the Moose. Dues are only $5.00 per year and a Lifetime membership is also available.

Simply print, complete and mail the following printable application along with your check for $5.00. We will enroll you in the appropriate Council for your area and see that you receive your membership card and news of your particular Council.
